About Studination
Built for Nepali students. Not repurposed from Indian templates.
Studination exists because the existing study-abroad content ecosystem is not built for Nepal. Most platforms that Nepali students Google in English are Indian-first and Indian-optimized. Japan, the #1 destination for Nepali students, barely gets a mention. Nepal-specific process steps — NOC from MoEST, NRB forex caps, document attestation chain from MoE to MoFA, the realities of Nepali bank loans vs MPOWER — are either absent or treated as footnotes.
We fix that by treating Japan as a Phase 1 destination alongside the USA, Canada and Australia, and by building tools and content that are specifically calibrated to the decisions Nepali families actually face. Every page has a Last verified date. Every tool shows its assumptions. Every number is sourced from an official government or university page.
What we do
- Free tools — GPA converter, NRB forex calculator, NOC checklist, education loan matcher, cost calculator, and a rule-based college finder.
- Country hubs and topic pages — 4 countries, 4 topics each, written with Nepali students in mind (not an Indian audience).
- University guides — hand-written intros for every institution in our dataset, not auto-generated paraphrase.
- Free counseling calls — 20 minutes with someone who has actually walked Nepali students through the process.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell fake reviews or ratings. If you see a rating on this site, we will take it down. It’s not worth the damage to our credibility.
- We do not invent admission probability numbers. Our recommender buckets (Safe, Target, Ambitious) are based on published minimums — nothing more, nothing less.
- We do not take commissions from loan providers. The education loan matcher is ranked by suitability to your situation, not by affiliate payout.
- We do not publish content without a counselor check. Every country hub, spoke, and university page has been reviewed by someone who has guided real Nepali students.
