DAAD EPOS Scholarship (Germany)

Citizens of eligible developing countries (verify Nepal's eligibility on the DAAD eligible countries PDF). Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with minimum 2 years of professional experience. IELTS minimum 6.0 or equivalent required.

About the Scholarship

The DAAD EPOS (Entwicklungsbezogene Postgraduiertenstudiengänge) scholarships are funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and administered by DAAD. They target professionals from developing countries pursuing postgraduate degrees relevant to their home country's development.

Applications are submitted directly to the respective German university, not to DAAD centrally.

What's Covered

Monthly stipend of €992 for Master's students or €1,300 for doctoral candidates, health and accident insurance, a travel allowance and airfare, monthly rent subsidy, and allowances for family members where applicable.
