For Nepali students
- Canada's Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows CBU graduates to work in Canada for up to three years after completing a program of two or more years, giving Nepali students a direct pathway to Canadian work experience and potential permanent residency.
- CBU's annual international undergraduate tuition of approximately CAD $23,800 (around USD $17,400 for 2026-27) is significantly lower than flagship Canadian universities, making it one of the more affordable degree options in Canada for Nepali students on a budget.
- CBU offers merit-based entrance scholarships open to international students without requiring Canadian citizenship, the Chancellor's Scholarship provides CAD $7,500 per year and the President's Scholarship CAD $5,000 per year, automatically considered upon admission with a high school transcript.
- CBU experienced rapid growth in international student enrolment from South and Southeast Asia between 2018 and 2023, meaning established student communities and support infrastructure for international students are in place, though enrolment has since contracted following Canadian federal study permit caps.
