About Centennial College

Centennial College is Toronto's oldest publicly funded college, offering 260+ programs across business, health, engineering, animation, and culinary arts.

Centennial College is a public applied arts and technology college founded in 1966, making it the oldest publicly funded college in Ontario. It enrolls approximately 26,000 full-time and 19,000 part-time students across seven campuses in the Greater Toronto Area, including its main Progress Campus and a dedicated Downsview Aerospace Hub.

The college offers more than 260 programs covering business, health sciences, engineering technology, animation, film, design, culinary arts, and community services. Distinctive offerings include joint paramedicine and journalism degree programs developed in partnership with the University of Toronto Scarborough, and an aerospace innovation hub at Downsview Park focused on aviation-related trades and technology.

Centennial operates across seven locations in Toronto and surrounding areas, giving students access to Canada's largest city and its extensive employment market. The college is notably diverse, with students representing almost 100 ethno-cultural groups and 80 languages spoken on campus; in 2018 it recorded the highest number of international student visas of any post-secondary institution in Canada.
