For Nepali students
- Nepali students with a BSc or MBBS background can apply directly to several English-taught master's programmes such as MSc Global Health and MSc Human Biology, no Danish language is required at postgraduate level.
- The Danish Government Scholarship, administered through UCPH, is open to non-EU/EEA applicants including Nepali nationals and covers partial or full tuition for academically strong candidates (recent recipients had a GPA in the top 2% of their cohort).
- Denmark allows international graduates from state-accredited programmes to apply for a one-year job-seeking residence permit after graduation, relevant given Denmark's growing life-sciences sector anchored by firms like Novo Nordisk headquartered in Copenhagen.
- Annual tuition for non-EU health sciences students is approximately 125,000 DKK (~USD 18,000) per year, mid-range for Scandinavia, and the automatic scholarship consideration for high achievers can substantially reduce this cost.
