Université Paris-Saclay is France's — and one of the world's — leading research universities, ranked QS #15 globally (2025). Built on the merger of the University of Paris-Sud with grandes écoles including CentraleSupélec, AgroParisTech, ENS Paris-Saclay, and INRAE research institutes, Paris-Saclay represents the most ambitious regrouping of French science and engineering talent in modern history. The university is physically centered on the Saclay plateau south of Paris — France's equivalent of Silicon Valley, hosting the R&D labs of EDF, Thales, Safran, Danone, and hundreds of deep-tech startups.
