About Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin)

Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) was established in 2019 through the merger of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), IT Tallaght, and IT Blanchardstown — becoming Ireland's largest technological university with nearly 29,000 students. TU Dublin is headquartered at the Grangegorman campus in central Dublin, one of the most significant urban regeneration projects in Irish history, occupying the site of the former Richmond Hospital on a 73-acre campus connected to the city's Luas tram network.

TU Dublin's program portfolio is the most diverse of any Irish TU, spanning engineering, computing, built environment, applied sciences, business, arts, tourism, hospitality, and creative and cultural industries. Its central Dublin location gives students unparalleled access to Ireland's startup ecosystem, multinational corporate offices, and public sector employers. Non-EU tuition rates are competitive at ~€11,000/year, and TU Dublin is increasingly sought by international students who want Dublin location and industry connections at lower fees than TCD or UCD.
