For Nepali students
- CNU charges substantially lower tuition than private Korean universities, annual undergraduate tuition for international students is approximately USD 6,000–8,000 depending on the college, making it one of the more affordable university options for Nepali students pursuing degrees in South Korea.
- The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), which covers full tuition, airfare, a monthly living stipend, and health insurance, is available for degree programmes at CNU; past recipients from Nepal have documented successfully receiving GKS support at this university. The university also offers its own internal merit-based scholarships covering up to 100 percent of tuition for high-performing international undergraduates.
- South Korea's D-10 job-seeking visa and post-study work pathway allow graduates to remain and seek employment after completing their degree, which is relevant for Nepali students interested in engineering, IT, or healthcare fields where Korean industry demand is strong.
- CNU's strengths in agriculture, engineering, and ocean sciences align with disciplines where Nepali students frequently pursue postgraduate study, and its lower cost of living in Gwangju compared to Seoul reduces overall study-abroad expenses.
