For Nepali students

  • The Ewha Global Partnership Program (EGPP) is a fully funded scholarship open to female students from developing countries, Nepali women are explicitly eligible, with at least one Nepali national (Gita Poudel) listed as a named recipient. The scholarship covers full tuition, dormitory housing, and a monthly stipend of approximately 550,000 KRW (~USD 400).
  • Annual undergraduate tuition for international students runs approximately USD 6,000–8,000, making Ewha significantly more affordable than comparable English-medium universities in the UK or Australia, and Seoul's cost of living, while not cheap, is lower than cities like London or Sydney.
  • South Korea's D-10 job-seeker visa allows international graduates to remain in Korea for up to two years after completing their degree to search for employment, offering a genuine post-study work pathway in an OECD economy.
  • Ewha's large international student community (around 3,100 students) and active partnerships with South Asian institutions mean Nepali students typically find institutional support structures; additionally, the TOPIK-based International Students Scholarship waives first-semester tuition for students with strong Korean language proficiency (TOPIK Level 6).
