For Nepali students
- Cincinnati State's co-op program connects students to paid work placements with real Ohio employers, giving Nepali students U.S. work experience and earnings that help offset living costs, a practical advantage at a college priced at roughly half the cost of four-year universities.
- Out-of-state (including international) tuition for 2025-2026 is approximately USD 382 per credit hour, making annual full-time costs around USD 11,500, one of the most affordable pathways to a U.S. credential, which is important for Nepali families managing foreign-exchange constraints.
- F-1 visa holders are accepted, and English proficiency can be demonstrated via IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL iBT 61, thresholds accessible to many Nepali applicants who may not meet higher-band requirements at four-year universities.
- Graduates holding F-1 status in STEM-related programs (Engineering Technologies, IT) are eligible for the standard 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) period, providing a legitimate post-study work pathway in the United States before seeking employer sponsorship.
