For Nepali students
- Cypress College offers one of the most affordable entry points into a US degree for Nepali students: international (nonresident) tuition runs approximately $372 per unit plus a $46 enrollment fee, totalling roughly $12,000–$13,000 per year for a full-time load, far below the cost of most four-year universities.
- The college's strong transfer pathway to UC and CSU campuses means a Nepali student can complete two years at Cypress College and transfer with junior standing, cutting total US degree costs significantly while meeting the same USCIS F-1 enrollment requirements.
- Health Sciences programs such as Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Radiologic Technology lead directly to US-licensable careers, and graduates in eligible STEM-classified programs can apply for a 12-month OPT period (with potential STEM OPT extension if the field qualifies) after completing their studies.
- The International Students Program (ISP) at Cypress College provides F-1 visa advising, orientation, and academic planning support, a practical resource for Nepali students who are new to navigating US immigration and credit-transfer requirements.
