- FDU offers merit-based International Scholarships of up to $24,000 per year for undergraduate students, no separate application required, which meaningfully offsets the estimated $59,799 annual cost of attendance (tuition, fees, insurance, and room and board) for international students in 2026-27.
- The Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck is minutes from New York City, giving Nepali students access to one of the world's largest job markets and a substantial South Asian professional community, which can support internship placement and post-graduation networking.
- International graduates on F-1 visas are eligible for 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the US after graduation; students in STEM-designated programs, including FDU's computer science, engineering, and analytics tracks, qualify for a 24-month OPT extension, totalling 3 years of authorised US work experience.
- FDU's acceptance rate is relatively open (around 87%), making it accessible for Nepali applicants with solid but not leading academic profiles, and its AACSB business school provides globally recognised credentials for students targeting MBA or management careers.
