About Fordham University
Private Jesuit university in New York City. Strong business, engineering, and liberal arts programs.
Fordham University is a private Jesuit research university founded in 1841, with campuses in the Bronx (Rose Hill), Manhattan (Lincoln Center), and Westchester. It enrolls approximately 15,000 students from over 65 countries and offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across arts, sciences, business, law, and social work.
The Gabelli School of Business is Fordham's flagship professional school, AACSB-accredited for over 50 years and a partner of the CFA Institute. The university is especially strong in finance, accounting, global studies, political science, and communications. Fordham School of Law, based at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, is one of the older law schools in the Northeast.
Both main campuses sit within New York City, placing students in direct proximity to Wall Street, the United Nations, global media companies, and thousands of internship employers. The Lincoln Center campus is in Midtown Manhattan, while the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx is a traditional residential campus. This New York City location gives students unmatched professional networking access during their studies.
