For Nepali students

  • At roughly $9,600 per academic year for international students (at 15 credits per semester, $320 per credit for 2025-26), QCC is among the most affordable US college entry points, allowing Nepali students to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree at a fraction of the cost of a four-year university.
  • The guaranteed 2+2 transfer articulation agreements with CUNY four-year colleges, including Baruch College for Business and York College for Biotechnology and Nursing, give Nepali students a structured, lower-risk pathway to a US bachelor's degree without reapplying competitively.
  • QCC's Port of Entry (POE) ESL program allows students who do not yet meet English proficiency requirements to gain conditional acceptance and complete language instruction before transitioning into degree programs, making it accessible for Nepali students still building English skills.
  • As an F-1 student completing a qualifying degree, graduates become eligible for 12-month OPT work authorization (or 36 months if the degree is in a STEM field), allowing practical work experience in the US after graduation.
