Saint Peter's University is a private Jesuit university founded in 1872 in Jersey City, New Jersey, and is the only Jesuit institution in the state. It enrolls approximately 3,572 students across five schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the Frank J. Guarini School of Business, the Caulfield School of Education, the School of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Professional Studies.
The university offers more than 50 undergraduate majors alongside accelerated graduate pathways and doctoral programs. Business, nursing, biology, criminal justice, and education are among its well-established programs. The 25-acre urban campus sits across the Hudson River from Manhattan, giving students direct access to New York City's internship and employment markets.
