For Nepali students
- Salisbury's out-of-state undergraduate tuition for 2025-2026 is approximately $22,174 per year, significantly lower than flagship state universities and most private East Coast colleges, making it a cost-effective option for Nepali students on a tight budget.
- International freshman students are automatically considered for SU Merit Scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $8,500 per year based on academic credentials, which can meaningfully offset tuition costs without a separate application at admission.
- F-1 visa holders completing degrees in STEM-eligible fields (including GIS, computer science, and nursing-adjacent sciences) at Salisbury may qualify for a 24-month OPT STEM extension in addition to the standard 12 months, providing up to 3 years of U.S. work authorization after graduation.
- The nursing and business programs, two fields with strong Nepali diaspora employment pathways in the United States, are among SU's most recognised, and the university's low cost of living location and dedicated international admissions office (reachable at [email protected]) provide practical support from application through arrival.
