For Nepali students

  • Nepali students interested in international relations, diplomacy, or global affairs will find Seton Hall's School of Diplomacy particularly relevant, the school's UN partnership enables real engagement with multilateral institutions, and the graduate programs rank among the top 35 nationally by policymakers' surveys.
  • International undergraduate students are eligible for the same merit-based scholarships as domestic applicants, automatically considered upon admission based on academic profile, which can meaningfully offset the approximately $52,150 annual tuition.
  • Graduates on F-1 visas are eligible for 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), extendable to 36 months for STEM-designated programs, Seton Hall offers STEM-eligible tracks in business analytics, computer science, and related fields, which is a critical post-study work pathway for Nepali graduates.
  • South Orange and the broader New Jersey–New York metro area have a sizeable South Asian community, easing cultural adjustment, and Seton Hall's small-to-mid-size enrollment means closer faculty contact than at large state universities, which can benefit students adapting to a new academic system.
