For Nepali students

  • Sinclair is one of the most affordable US community colleges for international students, with out-of-state/international tuition of approximately $359 per credit hour (around $10,800 per year for a full load), well below the typical US university cost, making it a realistic entry point for Nepali families funding studies abroad.
  • F-1 visa students are fully accepted and receive dedicated International Student Services support; Sinclair issues I-20s and requires proof of approximately $20,000 in available funds for one academic year, a threshold lower than most four-year US universities.
  • After completing a two-year associate degree, Nepali students can transfer to Ohio four-year universities under guaranteed articulation agreements, including pathways to Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, and Wright State, significantly reducing the total cost of earning a US bachelor's degree.
  • F-1 graduates are eligible for 12-month OPT work authorization in the US after completion, with a 24-month STEM OPT extension available for qualifying STEM programs, and CPT (Curricular Practical Training) is available before graduation for eligible programs.
