For Nepali students
- TJC's out-of-state tuition runs approximately $4,500 per year (2025 figures), making it one of the most affordable US college entry points for Nepali students on an F-1 visa, with total estimated annual costs well below most four-year universities.
- The formal Patriot Pathway transfer agreement with UT Tyler gives Nepali students a structured two-plus-two route to a four-year US degree: complete an associate degree at TJC, then transfer guaranteed credit to UT Tyler for a bachelor's, reducing total degree cost significantly.
- TJC actively admits international F-1 students and has a defined international admissions process including transfer-in provisions for students already on F-1 status at another US institution, which suits Nepali students who may already be studying elsewhere in the US.
- The nursing and allied health programs are particularly relevant for Nepali students seeking healthcare careers in the US, an occupational field with strong post-graduation employment demand and a pathway to long-term US work authorization.
