For Nepali students
- Ole Miss offers automatic merit scholarships for international undergraduates with no separate application required, students with a GPA of 3.5–3.9 on the US scale can receive $9,500–$12,000 per year, and top performers (GPA 3.9+) may receive the Mississippi Premier Scholarship worth $27,660 per year, covering roughly 93% of nonresident tuition.
- International undergraduate tuition runs approximately $31,068 per year (2025-2026 nonresident rate), placing Ole Miss in a mid-cost tier for US public universities; with merit aid, the net cost for high-achieving Nepali students can be substantially lower than peer institutions.
- As a US institution, Ole Miss graduates are eligible for up to 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) work authorization post-graduation in STEM fields, providing a meaningful pathway to US work experience after completing a degree in pharmacy, engineering, or computer science.
- The university's relatively modest international student body (753 international students) means Nepali students will have direct access to faculty and a close-knit campus community, though a large South Asian student network should not be assumed given the small international enrollment.
