University of the Pacific (UOP) is a private university founded in 1851, California's first chartered university. It operates across three campuses in Stockton (main), Sacramento, and San Francisco, and enrolls approximately 6,852 students across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in 9 schools and colleges.
UOP is particularly well regarded for its professional health programs. The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco runs an accelerated three-year DDS, one of a handful in the country.
