- Non-resident undergraduate tuition was approximately $18,489 per year for 2024–2025, which is significantly lower than many U.S. private or flagship public universities, reducing the financial burden for Nepali families.
- International students holding F-1 status are eligible for merit-based scholarships through UVU's International Student Services office, and UVU's Scholarship Universe platform matches students with hundreds of institutional and private awards.
- Graduates on an F-1 visa are eligible for 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), extendable to 36 months for STEM-designated programs, allowing Nepali graduates in engineering, technology, aviation, or business analytics to gain U.S. work experience after completing their degree.
