For Nepali students
- West Valley College offers one of the most affordable pathways into top UC and CSU universities from the United States: international undergraduate tuition runs approximately $373 per unit plus a $46 enrollment fee, with an estimated total annual cost of around $27,000–$29,000 including living expenses, lower than most US four-year universities.
- Its #1 Bay Area transfer ranking and formal Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreements with UC campuses and partnerships with Stanford and SJSU make it a strong two-year entry point for Nepali students aiming at a US bachelor's degree without the direct-admission cost barrier.
- F-1 visa students must maintain 12 units per semester as full-time status; no financial aid is available upon entry, but limited scholarships become accessible after the first semester of full-time attendance, and the college provides free parking, health services, and technology to international students.
- The college's Science and Math and Professional Studies programs are well suited for Nepali students targeting STEM or business transfer pathways into Silicon Valley-adjacent universities, and the presence of students from 25 countries provides a multicultural environment common among South Asian study-abroad communities.
