For Nepali students

  • CQUniversity's lower-than-average tuition, typically AUD 25,000–35,000 per year for international undergraduates, around 13% below the Australian university average, makes it one of the more cost-accessible pathways into an Australian degree for Nepali students on a limited budget.
  • All commencing international students are eligible for the International Merit Scholarship of up to 25% off total course fees, which directly reduces the financial burden without requiring a separate competitive application process.
  • Nursing, engineering, IT, and education, all fields with strong demand in Nepal and high Nepali student interest, are among CQUniversity's core academic strengths, and graduates in these fields benefit from Australia's Graduate Temporary Visa (subclass 485), which grants up to 4–6 years of post-study work rights depending on the degree and study location.
  • With 60% of its tracked student cohort being international and campuses in major cities like Melbourne and Sydney as well as regional Queensland, Nepali students have flexibility in choosing a study location while accessing a university ranked 401–500 globally by Times Higher Education (2026).
