For Nepali students

  • UWA's Global Excellence Scholarship offers up to AUD 48,000 over four years to high-achieving international undergraduates (including students from Nepal) based purely on academic merit, no separate application is needed beyond the course offer.
  • Australia's post-study work visa allows international graduates to remain and work for two to four years depending on qualification level, giving Nepali graduates a structured pathway to gain professional experience after completing their degree.
  • UWA's strengths in engineering, mining, and health sciences align well with fields where Nepali students have strong academic backgrounds and where Australian industry demand is sustained.
  • Perth's lower cost of living relative to Sydney or Melbourne makes UWA one of the more affordable Group of Eight options; annual tuition for international undergraduates typically ranges from approximately AUD 38,000–48,000 depending on the discipline.
