For Nepali students
- Nepali students can apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) at Wuhan University, which covers full tuition, accommodation, and provides a monthly stipend of RMB 2,500–3,500, substantially reducing the cost of studying in China.
- Undergraduate tuition for international students ranges from RMB 20,000 to 40,000 per year (approximately USD 2,700–5,500), making WHU one of the more affordable globally-ranked universities compared to anglophone destinations.
- WHU's world-leading programs in geomatics, remote sensing, and civil/water engineering align with infrastructure and development sectors where Nepal has growing demand for skilled graduates.
- China does not offer a post-study work visa pathway equivalent to those in Australia or the UK, so students should plan to return home or seek employment in China directly after graduation; however, the low cost of study and CSC scholarship availability make WHU a financially accessible option for Nepali families.
