IELTS General Training Practice Test 1
A complete General Training paper, with the Reading section structured the way GT actually is: short everyday notices, then workplace documents, then one longer general-interest text. It is marked against the General Training band table, which is much stricter than Academic, so 30 out of 40 here is a band 6 rather than a band 7. Writing Task 1 is a formal letter, not a chart.
This paper is marked against the General Training band table. General Training Reading is scored far more strictly than Academic because the texts are easier: 30 out of 40 is a band 7 on Academic and a band 6 here. If you are applying to a university, sit an Academic paper instead.
